The genus Amorphopahllus is better known for its bizzare inflorescences which produce heat, imitate the smell of rotting flesh and trap their pollinators while shedding their Pollen. The most famous example is the corpse flower. This however showes what becomes of these inflorescences after pollination: beautiful fruits which are dipersed by birds.
